Stay order is made conditional and it is directed that until further orders, petitioner shall not be evicted from the property in dispute provided that w.e.f. August 2007 onwards he pays rent to the landlord-respondent @ Rs.600/- per month. The rent may either directly be paid against receipt or deposited before the Prescribed Authority for immediate payment to the landlord respondent. The rent shall be paid or deposited by 7th of each succeeding month. However, rent for August, 2007 may be paid or deposited by 07.10.2007.

In case of two defaults stay order shall stand automatically vacated. Non-payment of this amount may also be a ground for dismissal of the writ petition.
