This is a writ petition for direction to respondents not to demolish the house of the petitioner except in accordance with law.
We have heard counsel for the petitioner and Standing Counsel for the respondents.
A counter affidavit has been filed by respondents. In paras 3,4 and 14 of the counter affidavit it has been stated that the respondents are not demolishing the house of the petitioner but merely notices have been issued to the petitioner to vacate the premises otherwise action will be taken in accordance with law.
In view of the assertions made in the counter affidavit, the writ petition is disposed of. It will be open to the petitioner to take proceedings in accordance with law.
With this observation the writ petition is disposed of.
