Prashant Kumar v. State Of U.P. & Others - CRIMINAL MISC. WRIT PETITION No. - 12526 of 2007 [2007] RD-AH 14710 (30 August 2007)
|
HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
Crl. Misc. Writ Petition No. 12526 of 2007
Hon'ble Sushil Harkauli, J.
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal, J.
We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The contents of the G.D. Entry No. 18 dated 9.8.2007, which is relied upon by the learned counsel for the petitioner are highly suspicious and appear to have been made by way of an after thought, because the petitioner went with the official pistol and cartridges on 5.8.2007. The revolver and cartridges were lost on the night between 6/7.8.2007, and on 8.8.2007 according to the first information report the petitioner made a G.D. Entry No. 12 in his own handwriting recording his return and also stating therein that the revolver and the cartridges were with the petitioner.
There is no explanation for this G.D. Entry No. 12 in this writ petition.
In the circumstances, this case does not call for interference.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
