HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD

Hon'ble Vineet Saran, J.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is being disposed of without calling for counter.

By this writ petition the petitioners have prayed for direction to respondents to consider the petitioners' application form in 10% seats reserved in category of Shiksha Mitra. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have experience of three academic years as Shiksha Mitra. However, in view of requirement of experience of three years under the Government Order dated 10.7.2007, the petitioners' application forms are not being entertained. This Court has already held in Writ Petition No.34919 of 2007 (Sanjay Kumar Singh & others Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & others) on 2.8.2007 that three years experience as contemplated in the Government Order dated 10.7.2007 has to be experience of Shiksha Mitra in three academic years. A Shiksha Mitra who has worked for three academic year is entitled to apply in 10% seats reserved in category of Shiksha Mitra.

The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that in case the petitioners have experience of working Shiksha Mitra of three academic years as required in Government Order dated 10.7.2007 they are eligible to apply in 10% seats reserved in category of Shiksha Mitra.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
