Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ petition is being pressed with regard to case No. 157 of 2007 in respect of DBBL gun. By the said letter licence has been suspended and the petitioner has been asked to show cause. Petitioner's case is that he was also present in the same jeep in which the arm of the petitioner was found with another person and incorrect report was sent by the Superintendent of Police, Jaunpur.
Considering the facts of the case ends of justice be served in disposing of the writ petition directing the District Magistrate, Kaushambi to take final decision with regard to show cause notice dated 30.6.2007. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already submitted reply to the notice. The District Magistrate may pass appropriate and final order expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to deposit the DBBL gun with the Arm dealer within two weeks from today.
With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of.
