Kunwar Bahadur v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - C No. - 42726 of 2007 RD-AH 15142 (7 September 2007)
HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
Hon'ble Ashok Bhushan, J.
Heard counsel for the petitioner.
By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for quashing the order dated 4.4. 2006 passed by the District Supply Officer suspending the petitioner's fair price agreement. The petitioner filed an appeal which, too, has been rejected. There is prima facie allegation against the petitioner that fair price agreement of the petitioner has been suspended. The counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he has received the charge sheet which he has already replied. The suspension being made on the basis of specific allegation, no ground has been made out for interference with the impugned order. It is, however, observed that the proceedings pending before the District Supply Officer after suspension of fair price agreement be concluded expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order .
Subject to above, the writ petition is dismissed.
