Heard counsel for the petitioner.

This writ petition has been filed against the order dated 18.8.2007 passed by the Prescribed Authority. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that against the order impugned the petitioner has remedy of filing revision under Section 12-C of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 before the District Judge.

There being availability of statutory remedy, the writ petition need not be entertained. The petitioner may seek remedy of filing revision. In case the revision is filed by the petitioner the same may be decided in accordance with law.

With the above observations the writ petition is dismissed.
