Heard counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed against an order passed by the appellate authority admitting the appeal and calling for the records.
The petitioner filed an appeal against the order passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate cancelling the fair price agreement. Although the appeal has been admitted but the stay application has been rejected.
In view of the fact that appeal has been admitted and the records have been called for, ends of justice be served in disposing of the writ petition directing the appellate authority to decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. However, in case no allotment has yet taken place of the shop in question, the same shall not take place till the appeal is decided.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
Let a certified copy of this order be given to counsel for the petitioner within twenty four hours on payment of usual charges.
