Ram Pratap Singh & Others v. District D.D.C./Collector Mirzapur & Others - WRIT - B No. - 50131 of 2007 RD-AH 16501 (9 October 2007)
HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
Hon'ble Janardan Sahai, J
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that an order dated 15.2.1996 was passed by the Consolidation Officer in favour of the petitioners and to give effect to that order, the petitioners have filed an application under Rule 109(A) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Rules which is pending before the Consolidation Officer but the same is not being disposed of.
The prayer made in this writ petition is that the Consolidation Officer, Lalaganj, District Mirzapur be directed to dispose of the same.
I have heard learned Standing Counsel and Sri S.K. Yadav holding brief for Anuj Kumar counsel for Gaon Sabha.
In the facts and circumstances this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Consolidation Officer to decide the application of the petitioner under Rule 109 (A) of CH Rules expeditiously. It is made clear that no opinion upon merit of the petitioner's application is being expressed by this Court.
