Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner Sri A.K. Pandey and the learned counsel for the respondents Sri R.M. Saggi.

The petitioner has made a representation-dated 29.8.2006, Annexure-11 to the writ petition to respondent no.1, State of U.P. through the Principal Secretary, Nagar Vikas, U.P. at Lucknow for promotional pay scale and the same has not yet been decided.

In these circumstances we direct respondent no.1, State of U.P. through the Principal Secretary, Nagar Vikas, U.P. at Lucknow that the aforesaid representation of the petitioner may be decided within a period of two months in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order.

With these directions the writ petition is disposed of.
