Devendra Singh And Others v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - A No. - 54567 of 2007 RD-AH 17397 (5 November 2007)
HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
C.M. W.P. No. 54567 of 2007
Devendra Singh and others Vs. State of U.P. and others
Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal, J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
The petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 26.10.2007 whereby the petitioners have been transferred from Civil Police to Armed Police.
It is not disputed that under the rules such posting is permissible and neither the same is contrary to the rules nor the transfer has been made by the authority not competent to transfer the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that some of the petitioners have made representation against the said transfer order to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Moradabad Range, Moradabad on 27.10.2007.
A perusal of the said representation does not show that the same has been made raising any grievance in respect to individual hardship. I do not find any merit to interfere in the impugned order of transfer at this stage.
However, this order shall not prevent the respondents from looking into the representation of the petitioners and to pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
The writ petition is dismissed.
