Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is not disputed that the petitioner was transferred to Kanpur which is his home district and as per the Government policy a Government servant cannot be posted in his home district. The impugned order has been passed by the Executive Engineer noticing this fact that the petitioner's home district is Kanpur Nagar and, therefore, he cannot be posted thereat.

In view of above, I do not find any error in the order impugned in this writ petition. The petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
