Smt. Om Shanti Chandel v. State Of U.P. & Others - WRIT - C No. - 55668 of 2007 RD-AH 17705 (13 November 2007)
HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
Hon'ble Janardan Sahai, J
It appears that on the basis of the report of the Mukhya Pashu Chikitsha Adhikari, Shajahanpur that the petitioner who is the Pradhan had committed irregularities in the distribution of mid-day meal and had also committed financial irregularities in development work, an order was passed by the District Magistrate Shajahanpur ceasing the administrative and financial powers of the petitioner. This order was passed way back on 2.2.2007. The order is based upon material. No ground for interference has been made out.
Counsel for the petitioner then submitted that the enquiry proceedings may be directed to be completed within a time bound period.
I have heard standing counsel also.
In the facts and circumstances final enquiry proceedings under Section 95 (1)(g) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act may be concluded expeditiously and possible within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed.
Subject to these directions this petition is dismissed.
