Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner Sri S.D.Dube and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner's appeal is pending before the Commissioner, Bareilly Division Bareilly. The interim order has been granted in favour of the petitioner till 8.1.2007. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has moved an application on 8.1.2007 for the extension of the stay order and the same is pending.

In these circumstances we direct respondent no.2, Commissioner, Bareilly Division, Bareilly to decide the aforesaid application of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of filing of the certified copy of this order before him.

With these directions the writ petition is disposed of.
