HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
Hon'ble Janardan Sahai, J
The only prayer pressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the appeal of the petitioner under Section 18 of the Arms Act be directed to be disposed of expeditiously within a time bound period.
I have heard the learned Standing counsel also.
In the facts and circumstances of the case the respondent no.1 is directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioner.
With these directions the writ petition is disposed of finally.
