HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD

Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.

This contempt petition alleges violation of the interim order dated 1.11.2007 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 51528 of 2007. After granting time to the parties to exchange their affidavits, the Court directed that the matter may be listed and till the next date of listing, status quo on the post of Shiksha Mitra shall be maintained. It appears that Smt. Sunita Maurya was working as Shiksha Mitra on the basis of the order dated 9.7.2007 and it has also not been stated that the petitioner was working as Shiksha Mitra on 1.11.2007. In such circumstances, it cannot be said that there has been any wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court.

The contempt petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
