Sakil Ahmad & Another v. District & Session Judge & Others - MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 884 of 2007 RD-AH 18825 (12 December 2007)
HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD
Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.
The applicants are the plaintiffs in Original Suit No. 996 of 1999 that had been filed for permanent injunction. The plaintiff-applicants also filed an application for grant of temporary injunction in which notices were issued. Feeling aggrieved, the plaintiffs filed a Civil Revision which was disposed of by the learned Additional District Judge, Jaunpur by the order dated 25.8.2001 with a direction to the Trial Court to expeditiously decide the application for temporary injunction. It is strange that inspite of the aforesaid directions issued by the Revisional Court the Trial Court has not decided the temporary injunction application.
In such circumstances, this application is disposed of with a direction to the Trial Court to decide the temporary injunction application within two months from the date a certified copy of this order is placed by the applicants before the Court below.
