The sole relief prayed for in this petition by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that Election Petition No. 963 of 2006 may be decided expeditiously.

Considering the facts and circumstances as set out in the petition, it is desirable that the Election Petition be decided expeditiously.

Accordingly, the writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution is disposed of with a direction to the learned Additional District Judge/Special Judge (S.C.S.T.) Act, Agra to decide Election Petition No. 963 of 2006 expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner before the Court.
