HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD

Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.

This contempt petition has been filed for alleged violation of the judgment and order dated 30.11.2006 passed by this Court in Special Appeals. A perusal of the judgment and order indicates that a direction was given to the Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central), Kanpur to pass final order positively within a period of two months by 10.3.2007. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the order passed by the Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central), Kanpur is not being complied with. For the said purpose the petitioner may approach the appropriate authority but it cannot be said that there is any wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court.

The contempt petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
