Learned counsel for the petitioner states that this writ petition is confined only to the imposition of penalty
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel who has accepted notice on behalf of respondents.
Learned standing counsel prays for and is granted a month's time to file counter affidavit. Rejoinder affidavit may be filed within three weeks thereafter.
List after expiry of the aforesaid period.
Until further orders of this Court subject to petitioner's depositing Rs.50,000/- within one month, recovery in pursuance to the impugned order shall remain stayed. The amount already deposited by the petitioner shall be adjusted towards the amount the petitioner has to deposit under this order.
The question of stay of penalty shall be considered after exchange of affidavits.
In the event of default this interim order shall stand vacated.
