Mahadev v. State Of U.P. Thru' Secry. Civil Supplies And Others - WRIT - C No. 9205 of 2007 RD-AH 2860 (21 February 2007)
Hon. Anjani Kumar, J.
Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.
Heard counsel for the petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel has accepted notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and Sri Anuj Kumar has accepted notice on behalf of respondent no. 6. In view of the order that we propose to pass, it is not necessary to invite counter affidavit.
The allegations made in the writ petition are that the Antodya cards have been wrongly prepared and for this purpose an application/representation before the District Magistrate dated 4th December, 2006 has been made. It is further alleged that the said application/representation has not yet been decided.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and without entering into the merits of the case, we direct the respondent no. 2 the District Magistrate, Jaunpur to decide the representation dated 4th December, 2006 (which has been annexed as Annexure No. 7 to the writ petition) within six weeks from the date of presentation of the certified copy of this order along with the copy of the representation dated 4th December, 2006.
With the aforesaid observations, this petition is finally disposed of.
