HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF ALLAHABAD

Hon. Anjani Kumar, J.

Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.

Heard counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the disciplinary authority under the provisions of LIC of India (Agents) Regulations 1972, whereby the agency of the petitioner has been terminated with immediate effect.

Admittedly against the aforesaid order, the petitioner has a right to appeal before the appellate authority under the provisions of the said Regulations. In these circumstances and without entering into the merits of the petitioner's case we dismiss the petition on the ground of availability of statutory alternative remedy.
