Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.

This application has been filed by the applicant Ramji with a prayer that the proceedings of S.T. No. 246 of 2004 under sections 308, 326,504 and 506 I.P.C. P.S. Rohaniya district Varanasi, may be quashed.

From the perusal of the record, it appears that there is no illegality or irregularity in the impugned order, therefore, the prayer for quashing the proceedings in the aforementioned case is refused. However, it is directed that the proceedings of the trial shall be expedited without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

With this direction this application is finally disposed of.
