Heard learned counsel for the petitioner Sri Uttamendu Bhattacharya and Sri Chandan Sharma counsel for the respondents.

The petitioner has made a representation dated 23.8.2006 (Annexure 4 to the writ petition) to the respondent No.2 i.e. Nagar Aayukt, Nagar Nigam, Kanpur.  The same not yet been decided till date as the petitioner is suffering great loss.

In these circumstances, we direct the respondent No.2 i.e. Nagar Aayukt, Nagar Nigam, Kanpur to decide the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of the certified copy of the order.

With these observations the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to  costs.
