Hon. Anjani Kumar, J.
Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.
This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the various Police Officers not to interfere with the peaceful living of the petitioner and other family members. The contention of the petitioner is that respondent no. 4 has lodged a First Information Report in the Police Station on 9th January, 2007 against the petitioners son on the allegation that the petitioners son had abducted his grand daughter on 22nd May, 2006. The petitioner has stated that it is pursuant to the aforesaid First Information Report that the Police Officers are taking coercive measures against the petitioner and his family members for producing his son Sanjay Kharwar before them.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the Police Officers are carrying on the investigation pursuant to the lodging of the First Information Report and in case the petitioner is aggrieved he can move the appropriate court.
In view of the aforesaid, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate court in case he is aggrieved.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
