Heard Sri Keshav Kumar Srivastava, counsel for the petitioner, Sri M.S. Srivastava, counsel for the respondents and perused the record.
Case of the petitioner is that his father Late Babu Lal while working as Safai Karmachari in Nagar Nigam, Allahabad died in harness on 9.9.2003. The petitioner moved application dated 17.8.2004 for his appointment on compassionate ground. When he was not appointed on compassionate ground, he filed representation dated 15.11.2006 before respondent no. 2 but the same has not been decided.
Only prayer of counel for the petitioner, at this stage, is that the respondent no. 2 may be directed to decide representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2006, appended as Annexure V to the writ petition within some time frame.
Counsel for the respondents has no objection to the aforesaid prayer.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2006 appended as Annexure V to the writ petition by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment. No order as to costs.
