In substance this writ petition has been filed against the seizure of the petitioner's Truck pursuant to the notice dated 27.11.2006 issued by respondent no.3.
Petitioner's case is that inspite of the fact that the petitioner has submitted reply to the show cause notice and no assessment order has yet been passed and the vehicle of the petitioner has not been released as yet. Learned Standing Counsel has assured that an appropriate order shall be passed by the competent authority in accordance with law considering the reply to the show cause notice expeditiously.
We have heard learned counsel for the parties.
In view of the submissions , we dispose of this petition requesting the respondent no.3 to consider the grievance of the petitioner by passing an appropriate order considering the reply submitted by the petitioner to the show cause notice issued by the authority concerned expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
