Hon'ble Amitava Lala,J.
Hon'ble Sanjay Misra,J.
The petitioners contended before this Court that at the time of promotion seniority of the petitioners were not considered at all. The persons who were given promotion they are much juniors to the petitioners. Petitioners contended that leaving aside these three persons, all were given promotion. One person Jintendra Singh Parmar, who is junior to the petitioners was also given promotion as per the direction of the Court. In this way the appropriate authority ignored the seniority of the petitioners. Petitioners have made representation before the appropriate authority for consideration, which is pending.
Therefore, in disposing the writ petition, we direct the Authority concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order upon giving fullest opportunity of hearing and by passing a reasoned order thereon. For the purpose of effective adjudication a copy of the writ petition along with its annexures can be treated as part and parcel of the representation.
Thus, the writ petition is disposed of.
However, no order is passed as to costs.
