HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF ALLAHABAD

Hon. Anjani Kumar, J.

Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the Punjab National Bank, Branch Bamour district Jhansi to release the loan amount of Rs. 5 lacs in favour of the petitioner.

The averments made in the writ petition indicate that the petitioner had applied for grant of loan of Rs. 5 lacs from the Bank but in spite of the fact that the Zila Gramudhyog Adhikari has made recommendations in favour of the petitioner, the Bank has not released the loan. The petitioner has not placed before us any Rule or Regulation under which it is obligatory on the part of the Bank to release the said loan. In such a situation, the relief claimed for cannot be granted.

The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
