This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to cancel the candidature of private respondent no. 6 who had been declared elected as a Block Pramukh.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we are of the opinion that such a dispute can be resolved in accordance with the provisions of the U.P. Kshettra Panchayat & Zila Panchayat Adhiniyam, 1961.

Thus in view of the fact that a statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner, we decline to entertain this petition. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
