This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to grant the fair price shop agency to the petitioner.

It has been stated in the petition that earlier the fair price shop agency was given to the husband of the petitioner. The husband died on 7th September, 2006 after which the petitioner applied for grant of fair price shop agency in terms of the Government Order dated 17th September, 2002 but till date the steps have not been taken.

In our opinion, the petition is premature inasmuch as the application was filed only on 5th January, 2007. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
