Ram Autar And Another v. Secretary Board Of Revenue, U.P. And Others - WRIT - A No. 16138 of 2006 [2007] RD-AH 6252 (5 April 2007)
|
Hon'ble Vineet Saran, J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. With consent of the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is being disposed of at this stage without calling for a counter affidavit.
It is the case of the petitioners that they have been working as seasonal Collection Amins since 1987-88. They claim that posts of Collection Amins are available and in terms of the U.P. Collection Amins Service Rules, 1974, 35% posts of the Collection Amins are to be filled up from amongst the seasonal Collection Amins. The petitioners contend that they are fully qualified and high up in seniority for being appointed as Collection Amins but their cases have not been considered despite the petitioners having filed several representations in this regard.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that in case if, with regard to their grievances made in this writ petition, the petitioners file a fresh comprehensive representation before Collector/District Magistrate, Fatehpur, Respondent no.2, along with a certified copy of this order, the same shall be considered and decided by the said respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of two months of the filing of the same.
With the aforesaid observation/direction this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to cost.
