HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF ALLAHABAD

Hon'ble Janardan Sahai, J

The grievance of the petitioner is that in pursuance of the order dated February 9, 1990 passed in the earlier writ petition  a representation was filed by the petitioner but the Commissioner, Varanasi who was required to decide the same within two months from the date of receipt of such a representation did not comply with the order. It is alleged that the representation has not been decided.

Case was taken up in the revised list.

None appeared to press the contempt petition. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest as the order may have since been complied with  and the petition has become infructuous. The  contempt petition is accordingly dismissed.
