Learned Standing Counsel states that on re-checking, there has been an increase of 2 marks in English Paper II and 30 marks in Mathematics Paper I of High School Examination, 2006 of the petitioner. Consequently the petitioner has now been awarded 18 marks in English Paper II and total 59 marks in both the English Papers. He has now been awarded 41 marks in Mathematics Paper I and consequently 87 marks in both the Mathematics Papers. With the increase of the aforesaid marks, the total marks obtained by the petitioner would thus be 414 out of 600. Learned Standing Counsel also made a statement that the corrected marks sheet of the petitioner of High School Examination, 2006 has already been sent to the College from where he had appeared in the High School Examination and he may collect the same.
In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the prayer made in this writ petition stands exhausted. However, in case the corrected mark sheet is not given to the petitioner, he shall be at liberty to file an application for modification of this order.
The writ petition stands allowed to the extent indicated above. No order as to cost.
