This writ petition has been filed against the impugned order dated 26th September, 2006 by which the license of the fair price shop of the petitioner has been put under suspension.
Sri L.M. Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that FIR has been lodged against the petitioner, but after investigation, final report has been submitted, which has been accepted by the learned Trial Court.
Sri C.K. Rai, learned Standing Counsel submitted that acquittal or conviction of the petitioner in criminal proceeding does not makes it entitle for revocation of suspension order. Enquiry is being conducted and he has prayed that the enquiry be concluded expeditiouly.
In view of the statement made by Sri C.K. Rai, we are not inclined to entertain the writ petition. It is according disposed of requesting the Respondent no.2, learned S.D.M., Tirwa, District Kannauj to conclude the enquiry expeditiously preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of certified copy of the order.
