Learned counsel for the defendants-appellants is not present.
Sri A.K. Dwivedi, Advocate states that pursuant to the order dated 31st July, 2003, he made several efforts to get instructions from the respondents for putting in appearance on their behalf, consequent to the death Sri G.C. Dwivedi, Advocate, but he has not received any response from the respondents.
As none is present on behalf of the defendants-appellants, there is no option but to dismiss the Second Appeal for want of prosecution.
The Second Appeal is, accordingly, dismissed for want of prosecution.
