This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners raising grievance that they are below the poverty line. They have applied for the allotment of the houses/flats which are meant for them inspite of the fact that they have moved applications for allotment of houses /flats, but their applications are not being considered.
Sri Sujeet Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that earlier some applications have been made for the allotment of houses/flats which are available are pending disposal and the Administration is going to reconsider the applications afresh in accordance to law. The applications if any, filed by the present petitioners shall also be considered in accordance to law as per fresh advertisement.
In view of the Statement made by Sri Surjeet Kumar, we dispose of the writ petition requesting the Respondent No.2, learned District Collector, Ghaziabad to ensure fair distribution of the houses/flats in accordance to law.
