Mahabir Prasad v. The Dy. Director Of Consolidation, Bareilly Camp & Others - WRIT - B No. 19379 of 2007 RD-AH 6851 (16 April 2007)
Hon'ble Janardan Sahai, J
This petition arises out of chak allotment of proceedings. The petitioner was proposed allotment of two chaks - one on plot no. 1234 and the second on plot no. 1301. The Consolidation Officer modified the petitioner's chak on plot no. 1234 and instead allotted him on plot no. 1211. The petitioner preferred an appeal which was dismissed by the Settlement Officer, Consolidation and the revision filed by him was also dismissed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation. The finding given by the Deputy Director of Consolidation is that both the chaks allotted to him on plot nos. 1211 and 1234 are on his original numbers. Thus the order passed by the authorities below is just and equitable. No ground for interference with the impugned order under Article 226 of the Constitution is made out. Dismissed.
