Hon'ble Ashok Bhushan, J.
Heard counsel for the petitioner and Sri Chandan Sharma appearing for the respondents.
By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the post retiral dues along with interest. Petitioner's case in the writ petition is that the petitioner who was working as Safai Karmchari retired on 28.2.2005 but her retirement benefits have not been paid. For the retirement benefits the petitioner has already submitted a detailed representation dated 14.2.2007 to the Nagar Ayukta copy of which has been filed as Annexure-2 to the writ petition. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner having already approached the authority by filing the representation, the same may be considered and appropriate steps be taken for payment of retirement benefits.
In above view of the matter the writ petition is disposed of diec8itng the Nagar Ayukta to consider and take decision on the representation of the petitioner for payment of retirement benefits to the petitioner as claimed by the petitioner in the writ petition expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With the above observations the writ petition is disposed of.
