Heard counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.

By this writ petition  the petitioner has prayed for a writ  of mandamus directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner on the post of seasonal collection Amin, Tahsil Sikandrabad District Bulandshahr. Petitioner's case in the writ petition  is that the petitioner has been working seasonal collection Amin but the petitioner has not been considered for regular appointment whereas several  juniors have been considered. In the writ petition  there are no details as to whether there  are any post available  for consideration of regular appointment for seasonal collection Amin.  Under the U.P. Collection  Amin Service  Rules, 1974 as amended in 1982 ; 35% vacant posts of Collection Amins are to be filled up from the seasonal collection Amins according to their seniority and eligibility as laid down under the rules. There being no details pertaining to the post no direction can be issued for consideration of regular appointment.  However, it is observed that as and when any  steps are take for regular appointment for seasonal collection Amin  against 35% quota  reserved for seasonal collection Amin   petitioner may also be considered  according to his seniority and eligibility in accordance with law.

With the above observations the writ petition  is disposed of.
