HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE OF ALLAHABAD

Crl. Misc. Writ Petition No. 5907 of 2007

Hon'ble Sushil Harkauli, J.

Hon'ble Ajai Kumar Singh, J.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner is the named accused in the first information report. Serious assault is alleged on the victim. No injury report has been filed along with writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is relying upon an uncorroborated statement that the petitioner has been falsely implicated due to political rivalry.

This kind of frivolous argument can not be entertained for quashing the first information report or staying the arrest.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
