Ranveer Singh v. State Of U.P. And Others - WRIT - C No. 1617 of 2007 RD-AH 945 (15 January 2007)
Hon. Dr. B.S. Chauhan, J.
Hon. Dilip Gupta, J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Nagesh Kumar holding brief of Sri Ranjit Saxena. In view of the order that we propose to pass, it is not necessary to issue notice to respondent nos. 4 and 5.
The petitioner claims that in spite of completing all the formalities, electricity connection is not being given to him for the reason that the respondent nos. 4 and 5 are opposing it and not permitting the Power Corporation to supply the energy to the petitioner. There is nothing on the record to show that as under what circumstances the said private respondents can oppose the supply of the electricity.
The matter requires investigation of facts and in the fitness of the case, it is desirable that the respondent no. 2 be requested to examine the grievance of the petitioner.
In view of the above, we dispose of this petition requesting the respondent no. 2 that in case the petitioner files a proper representation ventilating all his grievances before him, he would hear the petitioner and private respondent nos. 4 and 5 and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing a certified copy of the order along with the representation.
