Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner no.1 is the husband of respondent no.3. He has already divorced her and regarding divorce, the relevant record has been filed as Annexure 1 to the petition. The victim does not appear to have sustained any injury.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event the petitioner no. 1 puts in his appearance or is produced before the court below and makes an application for his release on bail in Case Crime no. 92 of 2006 under Section 498A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and ¾ D.P. Act P.S. Mahila Thana, District Meerut, the same shall be heard and disposed of expeditiously in accordance with law.
In case of petitioner nos. 2 to 8, if the investigation into the above Case Crime has not been concluded, the same shall be concluded within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of the order and till then the arrest of the petitioner nos. 2 to 8 shall not be effected, provided they co-operate with the investigation.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
