Sri M. S. Srivastava has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No. 2 to 4. Learned standing counsel appears for respondents No. 1 and 5. Sri R.C. Shukla appears for respondent no. 6.
By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for mandamus directing the respondent no. 2,5 & 6 to decide the representation dated 8.2.2007 Annexure-3 to the writ petition. The petitioner who was working as Safai Karmchari, retired on 30.4.2000. Petitioner's case is that the only amount of Group Insurance has not been paid with regard to which representation has been submitted by the petitioner on 8.2.2007 (Annexure-3 to the writ petition).
Considering the facts of the present case, ends of justice be served in disposing of the writ petition directing the respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and in case the petitioner is found entitled for the amount, the paper be forwarded to the respondent no. 5 for being remitted to the respondent no. 6 for consideration and appropriate action expeditiously preferably within a period of two months.
With the above observation the writ petition is disposed of.
