Heard counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.

By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner back in the Civil Police from the Armed Police. Petitioner's case is that the petitioner has been transferred to Armed Police on 6.9.2003 although thereafter  the petitioner has submitted  representation for his re-transfer in Civil Police but the same has not yet been considered. The petitioner may submit fresh representation tot he respondent no. 2 within four weeks from today. In case  any fresh representation is submitted to the respondent no. 2 the same may be considered and decided in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
