This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to quash notice dated August 17,2004 (Annexure P-3), which was issued by invoking the provisions of Section 29 of the State Financial Corporation Act, 1951.
Vide order dated September 10,2004, petitioners undertook to deposit an amount of Rs.25.38 lacs, with Respondent No.1, which they had deposited. During arguments, it was brought to the notice of this Court that defaulted account of the petitioners has now been settled, a photo copy of the order dated April 07,2006, has been placed on record.
Counsel for the petitioners states that the amount deposited by the petitioner has not been properly adjusted.
Be that as it may, in view of the order passed on April 7,2006, settling account of the petitioner, this writ petition has become infructuous . If the petitioners are not satisfied with the order passed, they may avail alternative remedy as per law.
Disposed of as having become infructuous.
