The petitioner, who is the complainant, has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuing directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to complete the investigation and submit the final report in case FIR No.284 dated 12.9.2005 under Sections 324,323,148,149 IPC, registered at Police Station City Batala.
In the petition, it has been stated that even after expiry of more than one year, the investigation has not been completed.
After hearing counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to complete the investigation in the aforesaid FIR and submit the final report within a period of four months.
The Investigating Agency may, however, seek extension, if the investigation is not completed in four months, after giving reasons for not completing the same in the stipulated period.
Disposed of accordingly.
