The petitioner filed CWP No.8883 of 2006 which was disposed of by this Court on May 30, 2006 with a direction to respondent No.1 "to look into and decide representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order within three months".
Alleging non-compliance of the above stated order, this contempt petition has been filed.
On July 20, 2006, Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions in the matter.
Pursuant thereto, Mr. Cheema, learned Sr. Dy. AG, Punjab, has filed an affidavit of Vinay Bublani, Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar, which is taken on record. Along with the said affidavit, a self-speaking order dated 26.6.2006 (Annexure R1) has also COCP No.857 of 2006
been appended vide which allocation of time table for different routes has been decided.
In this view of the matter and having regard to the fact that directions issued by this Court have been complied with, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner and/or any other party who has any grievance against the above stated speaking order to challenge the same before an appropriate forum, if so advised.
