This is a petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for bail in a case lodged under Section 420 IPC.
The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 22.9.2006.
The case is Magistrate triable and conclusion of trial shall take considerable time. Challan qua the petitioner has already been presented and therefore,there is no chance of the petitioner interfering with investigation.
The facts as stated have not been disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent / State.
Petition is allowed.
Bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate / Duty Magistrate , Jalandhar.
