The petitioner, who has been declared proclaimed offender, has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of an FIR No.
280 dated 11.6.2003 under Sections 376,406,420,498-A and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Line (Division No.5), Ludhiana.
After arguing the case for some time, counsel for the petitioner on instructions from the petitioner states that he does not want to press this petition and submits that after appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court, he will seek his appropriate remedy.
Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
After appearance before the trial Court, it will also be open for the petitioner to move an application for exemption from personal appearance or permission to go abroad.
